Why I built this

I built it for myself first.

I run Anchor Co Construction — a small fill-dirt and site-prep operation in Missouri. Nothing glamorous. We accept clean fill from contractors and developers who need somewhere to drop material.

The problem was simple: people would find the site at 9pm, read the page, and then call or text asking the same five questions. Do you take concrete? What's the address? Do you charge by the load? I couldn't answer at 10pm. They'd move on. Job gone.

So I built a chatbot for my own construction site. It answers those five questions instantly — trained on exactly what we do, what we won't accept, and how to get in touch to schedule a drop. No scripts. No call center. It just works while I'm asleep.

Then I realized other operators had the same problem.

Roofers. Plumbers. Landscapers. Restaurant owners. Every single one of them loses customers to voicemail. Most of them don't have a developer, don't have a budget for Intercom, and definitely don't have time to learn a new platform.

Chatbase is $120/mo. Intercom is enterprise software. Both are built for software companies with IT departments — not for a 4-person roofing crew that needs customers to know their service area and whether they do metal roofs.

I built Anchor Co AI to be the thing I actually wanted: a chatbot that knows your business, installs in 10 minutes, and starts at $29/mo. No jargon, no setup call required, no "premium branding removal" fee.

Where we are right now.

We're early. I'm being honest about that because I think founders who pretend they're bigger than they are waste everyone's time. The product works — you can see it live on our own construction site. We're taking our first 10 founding customers at 50% off in exchange for a short case study when you see results.
